Start here - More Of Jesus

Welcome, Friend!

If you want to experience more of God’s goodness, His power, and the simple pleasures of life in your busy days but struggle to find the time and space in your already-packed schedule, come on in, get comfy, and do as much exploring as you like.

I’m all about living purposefully and simply to make space for more of Jesus. More of His peace, more of His saving grace, more of His security, His healing, His wisdom and power, and more of His glory. I need all of this in Him and so much more!

I’m here to encourage all of us (myself included) as we explore ways to live more purposeful lives with God at the center, not in the periphery. With this type of intentional living, we can simplify our daily grind so we can have more of what our hearts hunger for: more of Jesus every day.

Simplifying life is anything but easy. We Christian women are some of the busiest people there are, balancing home, family, work, and church, as we each try to live out our God-given purposes. With this in mind, I’ve put together some practical resources from my website to help you get started.

I try to keep my Helpful Links page up to date if you’d like to see the most recent and the most popular blog content. You will also find quick links to the Christian Living Resource Page, what I Believe, and my Etsy Printables Shop.

Making Room In Your Life For More Of Jesus

People are watching us, some living by our example, and others waiting for this Jesus-girl to make a major slip-up. Because both of the above scenarios are pretty intimidating, friends, we’ve got to stick together. We need to learn how to be in the world yet not of the world.

Some of the major differences between those who follow Jesus and those who don’t yet know Him, are our joy in the Lord, our ability to forgive others, and our commitment to prayer.

If you’d like to be more intentional about living in this world, you are in the right place! Together we can learn to live more simply by following Biblical principles, believing His promises, and looking to God for direction and clarity.

I can’t express what a difference it makes when I let go and let God manage it all. He always comes through, is never late, and His plan is almost always one that I never imagined. To learn more about the true freedom that’s found in Christ, the Good News page is a great place to get started.

More Of Jesus Satisfies

Every Christian wants to be effective in the world for God’s Kingdom. If we are just barely keeping up, we will quickly lose our effectiveness. As Corrie Ten Boom said, “If the devil cannot make us bad he will make us busy.”

The Bible tells us that “He must increase, but I must decrease. ” John 3:30. As Jesus increases in importance in our lives, we learn how to live this verse out by taking the time to sit at His feet and allow ourselves to be used for His purposes.

I love the wording of Psalm 62:1 in the CSB Version of the Bible. It says, “I am at rest in God alone.” This is surely where I want to be – at rest in God alone.

My goal is to provide you with Holy-Spirit-guided truths for living a fulfilled life, at rest in God alone, along with effective resources to learn better how to live as God intends, how to “run with purpose” the race He has set before each one of us (1 Corinthians 9:26)
