Beloved Daughter Of The King Of Kings

woman crown on head

Some months ago, I had several experiences in a row that shattered the ground I stood on. Without giving details, I will say that I felt unequipped, utterly betrayed by humanity, and as though things would never get better. I went over and over conversations, questioning my words and whether or not I had said the right thing, feeling like I may have compounded a messy situation that I didn’t even create.

I’m sure we can all remember those times when we’ve examined the inner self and felt like we’ve blown it or failed miserably. Whenever we are amid major adversity, feeling discouraged, or just experiencing an uneasy sense that you can’t shake, we’ve all been there and had these feelings.

There are times when we need to be reminded of the solid foundation we have in the Lord, and to be reminded of His deep love – the unconditional love He has for us. Sometimes we need to know that God sees in us a spectacular inner beauty that He created in us, as a beloved daughter of God.

At times in life, finding our true identity and purpose can be challenging. Yet, as daughters of God, we are firmly rooted in the identity given to us by God Himself, a truth that brings unwavering comfort.

Our Heavenly Father loves us like no other and tells us so in the Bible. The Word of God is God’s love letter to His children, and there are times when we need to bask in these words from our loving Father.

What Does It Mean To Be A Daughter Of God?

First let’s think about what a daughter of a king is known as? A daughter of any king is referred to as a princess. So – if you are a child of God, you are a princess, the daughter of the King of kings! The Bible tells us we are children of God, adopted into His family, wanted and cherished.

Being a beloved daughter of the King of kings carries with it some weighty meanings:

  • As a beloved daughter of God, you are a representative of God’s Kingdom.
  • You are beloved of the King and have received His grace and mercy. It’s your job to spread God’s Word and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • You are confident of your standing in the eternal Kingdom of God, and nothing can shake that confidence.
  • You are a beautiful daughter to your Heavenly Father, but you must not allow it to make you prideful by letting it go to your head.
  • You will be persecuted for your true identity and for what you believe. Stand firm and suffer well.
  • You will have times of uncertainty, times when your faith is weak. Take it to your Father, the King, and He will show you what to do and which way to go. Don’t try to rely on your own understanding.
  • You will have questions and things you don’t understand. Just remember that you don’t need to know everything about running the Kingdom, but trust it all to your Father, the King.

Daughter of the King Bible Verses

As God’s children, our true identity comes from our heavenly Father. He is the One who made us who we are through and through, and as heirs of God, we have a great inheritance from Him that we did not and can never earn – as daughters of God we have an eternal life in splendor to look forward to.

Things that follow the pattern of this world are not what we live for, because we live for doing the good works God has prepared for us to do. We live for spreading His Word and, well, being His true daughters. The riches of our inheritance in Him can never be ruined or stolen.

We are each individually made, no one the same, and prized by our Father! So don’t let the world get you down. You have promise and a future. It’s a promise (not from me but from God)!

With all of that in mind, I invite you to relax and scroll through the beautiful Bible verses and Pinterest photos below that I have gathered for this post. I’ve interspersed inspirational Bible verses between the photos in no particular order.
